The ugly of online shopping
Trying to make an "order2store" deal at Meijer.com led to me finally calling the online ordering customer service number. I couldn't figure out why the shopping cart told me that order2store was free, then charged me shipping.
Well, said the customer service phone drone, that's because your item doesn't qualify for order2store. Interesting, because I had filtered my search to show me ONLY those items that qualified (and they all had the appropriate icon on their order tags).
I think Meijer needs to invest in qualified computer programming people. Because the morons who set up their shopping site? Really shouldn't have. But hey, now I know not to EVER BOTHER AGAIN.
