I still haven't gotten spray or anything, but I read that you just need to break their scent trail and it will discourage them from coming around. The blogger I read had tried cinnamon, and it did well. I have no way of getting to their point of entry (rather, their point of entry is large and old and well-established) so I just scattered ground cinnamon all over the counters where they are. There are some in a new location, a wall-hung cupboard across from the stove, which is not so easy to powder, but I put some on a towel and wiped the area they'd been walking. It seems to have helped quite a bit in both areas, though I admit it seems odd to just live with brown powder all over. I will be interested in seeing how it goes. After the spring rainy season I should be done with the invasion. I hope.
