Unwanted earworms
On the one hand, I am spectacularly pleased by "Weird Al" Yankovic's new parody video/single "Word Crimes". Last summer's most-hated earworm for me was the problematic and hysterically catchy "Blurred Lines," so having different words to learn to it is excellent.
On the other hand, this summer's most-hated earworm for me, so far, is "Rude", by MAGIC!. Problematic in very different ways, it incenses me that I canNOT get it unstuck from my headspace. You will note I included the link because I wish to share my suffering. Sadly, I am doubtful that "Weird Al" will turn his talents on this one.
