Vacation day
Sep. 21st, 2012 04:55 pmNope, not really done anything, but it was nice to sleep in. And I did drag myself out to the grocery in town, because I was completely out of coffee. Will try to get to Meijer tomorrow, on my second vacation day.
Sitting here at the kitchen table to use the netbook gives me a good view out the window. OK, well, it's just a view of the street, and the neighbor's house. And the kids from down the street who are riding their bikes up and down.
And, um, a view of the small doe that just paced her way up the street and hung a left at the corner. Followed shortly by the two boys on bikes, who were obviously doing the "did we just see what we THOUGHT we saw?" thing.
I have to say, I have never seen any deer here at the house before. Rabbits, raccoons, an infinite multitude of squirrels, possums, skunks, etc. but no deer. This isn't a logical place for deer, it's not between wooded areas or anything. Apparently she was just slummin'.
Or, you know, maybe my brain finally melted down from too many viewings of the Gangnam Style video on YouTube.
