Yikes

Guess it's a good thing I never managed to really try to move to Boston (I wanted to, when I was in my late 20's-early 30's). The expected blizzard that is expected to be bearing down on them could bring up to three FEET of snow Friday/Saturday. The local news weather geek was explaining about the storm that will bring us a brief period of rain with maybe a little wet snow on the back end of the front, will be joining up with a storm moving up the east coast, into a big mess that will affect Philly through Boston, with the brunt of it in Boston. As he said, it will be fascinating to watch as it develops-- from a distance (meaning here in Ohio).

He also noted that it will be nowhere near the record for Boston, which was something like 77 inches of snow. I heard that and my mind went blank, so I don't know when that happened.
