Ugh. Morning.
Jun. 3rd, 2012 07:07 amThe one cat started trying to get me up around 5:30. That's because he gobbled his food last night, then drank a lot of water, then threw up everything he'd eaten. Oh sure, he went back and cleaned up the last bits of kibble left in everyone's bowls, but that wasn't much.
I finally made noises that were different from "Ge'wayfumme!" followed by slapping at him or pushing him off the bed with increasing force at around 6:30. As I sat up on the edge of the bed, another cat decided to make sure I got up then, by puking up a hairball right there by the bed.
:: sigh ::
And this meant I had to clean that up, and then I decided to scoop the litters, and did a couple of other chores before I fed them- to give her stomach time to settle. I sat down here and booted up the 'puter instead of going right back to bed, because I knew some cats would want out after they ate.
And I have just let out three of them.
It looks to be a gorgeous day, and I have to mow (too hot to do it last week, the grass is in overachiever mode so it's going to take more time than usual to get through it all, I can tell), among other things yardwork- and household-related. But right now I'm still tired, and my lower back hurts, and I pulled a muscle under a shoulderblade yesterday. So yeah. It's a nice morning, but it's not that nice. Back to bed with me.
