Oh, fever that persists with feeling so incredibly awful is a guaranteed "must see doctor" for me. Luckily I had the money for the copay, because the ER copay is way huger on my insurance.
As for the house, I am trying to work up the courage to go down to the credit union and ask about a home equity line of credit. I really don't like the idea of taking on new debt at this time, but I really need to have the really-awful-now-and-difficult-to-start-with downstairs bathroom shifted into the utility room (from the awkward lean-to addition that currently houses it) and expanded with a shower.
