No, no, the MRSA is why he went to the hospital to start with. And it's not the first time he's had it (as it does tend to recur). It's just that THIS time the doc said IV antibiotic twice a day for the treatment, to try to really kick it out. So he had to go to a nursing home for that- but apparently the insurer felt that just getting through the treatment for that was all they needed to cover. The PT goals were marginal.
Right now things are so fraught I am just hoping we can all get through it (and I am completely useless to them, my own disability is so bad I can't help with ANYTHING).
And to clarify, the nursing home was, indeed, going to protest, they just wanted bro to know they had never yet succeeded in such a challenge.
