monkey5sShe wanted to get a progress report on Singer, so I told her how he seemed to turn a corner after their daughter stopped Sunday. I told her how well he was eating now, and that I failed to start the antibiotic yesterday but did get him dosed this morning with no problem. So I don't have to call again unless he gets worse again.
Of course, tonight he only ate half the can of food. But, I did start the antibiotic this morning. And he was very clear-eyed and content about things, so I won't worry. Yet.
Today at work the full-time coworker who is leaving at the end of the month was noting that tomorrow would be her last Thursday, followed by the rest of her last days of the week. The assistant director has been on a weird schedule lately, and had to leave at 1:30 today, so I asked the coworker what was up. She wasn't entirely sure, but she did note that, with our ILS change she's been working frantically, plus she wouldn't let the two who are retiring do planning for their joint retirement party, so that was a big stress, too- as was the fact that the assistant director was the one hardest hit by this coworker's departure. The two of them were the chronic early birds for the weekdays, and they often had over an hour of just the two of them before another tech area worker would show up.
My cold is still testing to find out how slowly it can leave, while still being perceptibly better each day. Last night's Return of the Bloody Sinuses had a mild redux this afternoon at work. But, the nosebleed part of the festivities was quite minor (and so different from trying to bend over and clean litters while having drops of blood trickle down from my nose). Now I'm sitting here, having taken the decongestant two hours ago, and I'm still snuffling and choking. STOOPID COLD.
And now I believe I will go to bed. I'm still ridiculously tired.
