Ran the numbers three times

It looks like I should be good to go for getting back on track with my bills this month. I paid off my car loan last month, so this month that money is going to pay the overdue property tax. I will also be able to get the gas and electric bills in before the due date this time, and water and sewer will only be four days late. I'm making a (small) payment on my huge, painful vet bill from this pay, and also paying off what the insurance didn't cover on my dentist bill back in November. I'm paying my brother four days late for the mortgage payment, which sucks, and I will have to be paying him a couple of days late next month, but then I should be OK to move that to the earlier pay in the month, like I had been.

For the next paycheck this month, I will be paying off a small loan from the credit union, and that will free up more money to pay down credit cards.

Of course, none of this addresses the huge-ticket repairs and maintenance the house needs, not to mention the car needs an oil change and I have to get the stupid power windows fixed. But it's progress.

The credit union is running a special on home equity line of credit this month, so I'm hoping the county cashes my tax check quickly so I will be in good standing when I look into that around my second paycheck of the month.

Now I just need to begin selling off the stuff I don't want in the house, and find alternate sources of income online, and perhaps I can really begin to dig myself out of my hole.

It helps, it definitely helps. I should also be on track for covering my next property tax payment ON TIME, instead of 3 months late, and that has me very happy. I mean, it might be falling down around me, but it's the only home I've got.
