Frustration

monkey5sI guess it's going to take a minor miracle to get the stitches and staples out of my head. And the secondary problem, with the cyst that seems to have been damaged enough to be leaking? Forget it.
Bureau of Workers Comp posted a list of places to have workers comp medical attention done. But guess what? It's nooooot exactly accurate. Big surprise, huh? Turns out, the places listed will do the followup only if they were the ones who did the first contact. So I had to call the emergency room that the squad took me to, and they told me I would have to talk to the place next door that does workers comp followups.
Who have short hours, and were not answering the phone when I tried them. No, I didn't feel like leaving a brief message right then, thanks- I've been down that road more than once. I'll save that for tomorrow morning.
I'm sure the s-i-l would be game to cut the stitches out, but I don't know of anything that would take those staples out easily. OR I WOULD DO SO.
Of course, I still haven't received the card that BWC is supposed to send me, to use for this followup. When I asked the caseworker about it, she snipped that THEY didn't do that, it was Workers Comp who sent those out. Which... begs the question of WHY THE FUCK AM I TALKING TO YOU THEN, HUH? But I managed to suppress my rage for the moment. Of course, she was the one who told me that I would be able to go to ANY certified BWC facility for my followup, so I guess that shows how full of shit she really is. Hmm, I wonder what sage advice she'll impart when I ask about getting my $100 back that I paid towards my insurance copay for the emergency room visit, when I didn't realize it had to be put through Workers Comp? Should be entertaining, at least. Though patently untrue.
And in other non-news, I am so tired of the robocalls from the Republican party and the various shills they have that I am about to the point of making sure that I cast a vote in every category tomorrow, even the ones I don't know/don't really care about. If a candidate shows on the ballot as Republican, I will vote for the other candidate, just for spite.
