Ugh, the things you realize about friends on Facebook

Going to have to take a break from there for awhile. One friend who does lots of pet rescue work, active in her church, etc., reposted something about how we should require ALL 50 STATES to force drug testing on welfare applicants. Just like Florida, Kentucky and Missouri!!1! I commented that it's a massive waste of taxpayer money, and Florida doesn't do it anymore. I did not address the original piece's abhorrence of the claims that forcing drug testing is unconstitutional. Nor did I mention that we who are NEARLY to that point of poverty are being squeezed because the super rich refuse to allow lawmakers to pass even a single percentage point of increased taxes on themselves.

Just the fact that she would post this as something she supports makes my brain hurt.

This is so much worse than the friends who unwittingly participate in "Like"-farming scams.
